The quilt may go to Alan's granddaughter, Riley, who is expected in early March 2009, by Nathan (Alan's son) and his wife, Shauna. They all live in Austin, TX, except Geraldene, who still lives in Allentown, TX.

A-1-6 > 08MR-07: Tommy Foley, 2nd Plt, Temple, TX, drove 1 1/2 hours to attend. He brought some delicious potato salad made by his wife, Brenda. He and Allen were bunk mates before Foley was transferred to 2nd Plt, probably during AIT at Fort Hood. Terry Buelow's reflection may be seen in the window behind Foley, as he took the photo.

A-1-6 > 08MR-09: Harry Thompson, TX, was Company Clerk for Alpha Company. He can't pick or grin, so he's taken up whittlin'. Here he's working on a piece of ashe juniper, or "cedar" as it's called in the Texas Hill Country.

A-1-6 > 08MR-10: Terry Buelow, IA, and his wife, Terri, drove down for the reunion at Alan Allen's house--which now is set for the 3rd weekend each October. Harry Thompson still is whittlin' in the rear of the photo.
