A-1-6 > JRO-3: Joseph Roger O'Bryan also provided a copy of the 1969/70 version of the Gunfighter Ace of Spade Card. Ace of Spades cards like this one were placed on the bodies of dead enemy soldiers. According to some, the cards were recognized by NVA and VC operating in Alpha Company's AO (Area of Operations). Intel reports claim the cards struck fear into the hearts of the enemy. Note that mercenary is misspelled.

A-1-6 > JRO-4: Many Gunfighters from 69/70 may remember Michael Richard Pickles, CWO, a famous pilot from Stanford Maine who airlifted many A/1/6 to and from A/O's. He died of wounds on April 27th, 1970 in Vietnam at the age of 21. The photo was provided by SP5 Joseph R. (Roger) O' Bryan, Company A 1/6th Gunfighter (2/69 - 11/69)
