A-1-6 > BW_New_7-3: L to R Lt, Willy G. Livingston, Lt. Tom Bradbury, and Lt. Mike Miller and I believe the supply sgt. from Co. B. (need help with the name). This is at the farewell gathering of the original 1/6th Regulars just days before leaving Nam Oct. 1968.

A-1-6 > BW_New_7-4: Company A supply sgt. Hans J. Raasch with Bn. SGM Price. This is a great photo since these two did not see eye to eye. Co. A 1st Sgt Rodriguez and Sgt. Raasch did everything possible to supply us in the field and sometimes had to deal with the Bn. SGM. Poncho liners and ice cream showed up in the field don't ask how. SMG Price re-enlisted for three years while serving with 1/6 th Inf in Nam. Photo was taken in the Bn. Mess. In the background are our 1/6th Inf. Colors and streamers. We at great cost added a Valorous Unit Award to those colors for our action at LoGaing during 1968 Tet.

A-1-6 > BW_New_8-3: LZ Bayonet Bn. Mess. L to R SSG Howard W. Walker, Bn. Ammo Chief and Chem. NCO, D & HHg Co. Oct. 67 to July 70. Served at times as a Plt. Ld when we were short personnel (far too often). Met this Canadian at our Buffalo reunion He has some great stories that span more than most of our one year tours. In the middle is Co. A 1st Sgt. Miguel Rodriguez--the absolute best. On the right is Como Sgt. Tatum. In left upper right is B Co. and E Co. Supply Sgt.

A-1-6 > BW_New_8-1: LTC William Baxley Jr. ( Dillion S. Carolina). on the left and 1st Lt. Don Thomas. LTC Baxley was our first Bn. Commander when the 1/6t Inf. was reactivated as a Light Infantry Brigade at Ft Hood Spring 1967. Sure surprised a lot of Mecanized Infantry troops when they lost their ride. LTC Baxley and his staff molded all of us into who we became " Regulars". Competition amongst us during training starting at fire team level then to squad level on to platoon and company maneuvers then FTX's to finish and always to establish pride in our units. We were very fortunate to have the experienced cadre during training and deployment. At the time of this photo LTC Baxley was at Americal Division G-3.
