A-1-6 > Some of the waves we saw from the USNS Upshur, while crossing the Pacific.
A-1-6 > The USNS Upshur (you can barely read that on the side of the ship), docked at Okinawa. That may be David L. Clark, 1st Platoon, from up North, showing the Co. A logo with his middle finger, and next to him is Patrick Armand, LA. Clark later won $13 from a one-armed bandit and he and Alan Allen ate all the money up in hamburgers, fries and cokes---sure beat Upshur food. In Vietnam, we think Clark was transferred back to The World on 14 Jan 68.
A-1-6 > That maybe James Randall Jones, GA, 1st Plt, on the left, and Tommy Foley, TX, 2nd Plt, on the piano.
