This 'General Passenger Information' sheet from the USNS Upshur details religious services scheduled, including day and time, and where on the ship. It also notes 'sick call hours' and that each Compartment Commander will have sea sick medicine for each passenger. Due to the shortage of writing paper, Alan Allen used the reverse of this sheet to write his wife. His note to her at the bottom tells her that 'Lurch' Chase (NY) 'just said we'd probably get to send more mail,' during the voyage.
