LM27: While staying next to the pacified Ville, the village Head Honcho came to me and said there was a very sick kid, around three years old. Our medic looked at him and said the kid had a 104 degree temperature. There just happened to be a medical chopper about ten minutes away. The kid and mother were taken to a Chu Lai Hospital. The kid lived so mama san and papa san were very happy. So happy that the Head Honcho came back to me and said the parents wanted to thank me by inviting me to have supper with them. I declined as gracias as possible. Besides, I don’t eat fish heads and guts.
