LCS: That is Larry Swank on the left and Vic Girling on the right. They were the Forward Observer Team from the Battery A, 1st BN, 14th Artillery. Vic served in the field for 13 months with A/1/6 in 67/68 and was the longest serving (surviving) member of the command group. Larry was one of many FOs with the unit and is now the 'acting' webmaster of the Gunfighter website. Both Larry and Vic were awarded the Silver Star for actions at Lo Giang on 8 Feb 68.
